Heading to Weymouth

On Thursday, March 25th, Charles, my cousin Gemma's fiancé, drove up from Weymouth to Aldershot for the night. We headed out for a bit of pool at the Queen Victoria pub and shockingly I actually beat Charles in one game although Sid was the big winner. Next we moved on to the Garden Gate pub for some pub trivia with Sid's friend Simon and placed a respectable 3rd out of 9 teams!

The next morning, after a bit of a sleep in, we hopped in the car and drove the 2 1/2 hours southwest to Weymouth. We stopped for lunch in a pub called "The World's End" where Charles claims Churchill and Roosevelt met when planning the D-Day invasion. Couldn't find any corroborating evidence on this fact on the Internet but I'll give Charles the benefit of the doubt.

The next day both of my sisters arrived with their families. Julie, her husband Brad and kids Matthew, Rachel and Emma flew in on a red eye flight from Washington D.C. and the Glenns returned late that evening from their 3 day stay in Paris. The invasion of Auntie Shirley's house was now fully underway!
