Hoi An - A Photoshoot

December 8th, 2024

After resting for the first part of the afternoon with full tummies from our cooking class, Naomi donned her Ao Dai, a Vietnamese outfit, grabbed her Non La hat and we headed out for a “photoshoot”.  Naomi is an amateur photographer but, in this instance, she wanted to be the model ,so I’d have to be the one behind the lens.  Sure…I’ll give it a go.

As we were walking around, Naomi was certainly causing a stir with the locals.  She had some older ladies smiling and giving her compliments and men passing by on scooters turning their heads…it was cool to see.  I joked that she should maybe always wear her Ao Dai in this country, and we’d get better service with whatever we’re doing.

Here are the results:

One of my favourites.

Outside the Hill Station.

Upstairs of the Hill Station.

These ladies were doing their own photoshoot...so Naomi asked to join in.

By the Japanese Bridge.

Naomi liked this one.

Afterwards we returned to one of our favourite spots, the Hill Station, for a well-deserved drink and appetizer.
