On a couple of evenings of the week before the wedding we played Trivial Pursuit, a favourite with my family, but this wasn’t just any game of Triv, it was a trans-Atlantic Trivial Pursuit. My father was diagnosed with lung cancer this past Christmas and has been going through his chemotherapy and radiation therapy and although he has finished it now, he wasn’t able to make it over to England for Gemma’s wedding. So thanks to Skype, we had him and my stepmother Nola on a laptop and they played on one of the two teams. It worked quite well, so well that we did it a couple of times...gotta love technology!
