We had a bit of a sleep in the next day, Wednesday, March 31st and the plan was just to hang around Weymouth. Without the big mini-bus (oxymoronic isn’t it?), we had to take multiple cars to get into town. Most of the group was going to hit the shops for a bit but Sid, Matthew and I opted for a pub to play some pool. We found the Brewer’s Quay that not only had a pool table but a coin operated 5 pin bowling alley which would be a hit with my nieces once they returned from their shopping spree. Sid and I worked on a few tips for Matt’s pool playing and he definitely improved over the course of the session.

Today is my good cousin Sid’s 33rd birthday so he had some influence on the evening’s dinner selection which was Auntie Shirley’s lovely coriander chicken (by the way, hats off to Shirley for all of the massive meals she prepared and threw in the freezer before we all arrived). It was a great dinner followed by some gift opening and then games...Happy Birthday Cousin Sid!
